Not only Jio, even Apple's iphones sold in India are China made, but they are showing them from India. Phones assembling in India are export to USA. Airtel is not selling own branded phones and laptops, so they are escaped. They are also misguided their consumers for other products like 4G telecom equipment and Routers for fiber are from make in India, but mostly procured from China.

Airtel AirFiber initially had only indoor unit type AirFiber devices but now has the same setup as Jio AirFiber. Airtel AirFiber also requires ODU installation now. The only drawback of Airtel AirFiber is that it is available in very limited cities.

These air fibre devices shall work where there is 5G services since 5G esim needs to be activated and it will be paired with a 5G tower. I think no other criteria. Just it need to installed by company officials
